Wave Diving & Fishing srl aims to increase its competitiveness in the blue economy sector in Romania, through sustainable use of the Black Sea marine resources. WDF is one of the first Romanian companies with commercial fishing, seafood processing as well as distribution of fish and shellfish products and by-products.

The company was established in 2020, at the Black Sea seaside village Schitu, part of Costinesti commune. The company was established by a local resident, in an devour to blend a lifelong passion for the sea and the motivation to start a long-term successful business. Until 2022 the company was primarily focused on commercial fishing of shellfish, for export to Bulgarian companies. With the award of the SHELLFISH Project (link catre pagina de proiect), the company has ambitious plans to develop its processing and distribution capacities to meet the high demand for fresh and processed seafood, on the Romanian Black Sea coast.
